If you are looking for girls to hit on, dont count on Racers BUT this place is an awesome spot to stop by after work, have a couple pitchers and complain about your day. The definition of a man cave, this place has every thing you want out of a dive bar. TVs everywhere, the bar tenders range from trailer park sexy to “so what if she has a little beer gut…look at those cans!” and the beer is ICE COLD! They have a great selection of beers on tap and now have hard A for shots and mixed drinks; jager bombs motherfucker!! The atmosphere makes me want to smash cans of coors lite on my forhead and talk about Home Depot…fuck yea.

The 90951 is a website designed to give you information on where you should be spending your free time. It sucks to wake up on a Saturday/Sunday wondering what to do in the area. Especially when it starts getting warm and the sun starts shining. One of my favorite things to do is to go play some golf. Its nice to be outside getting some sun and fresh air. Not to mention the Golf Course is the only place where drinking and driving is ok.
On the Norco/Corona border off of the Hidden Valley exit you can go play around at on the 90951 nicer courses named surprise Hidden Valley. It is a nice 18 hole course including driving range. Fully equipped with a club house offering daily happy hour specials and good food. Can’t wait to get the club house you can have it delivered to your next hole.
So, maybe you feel like drinking your own beverages no problem each cart comes equipped with a little cooler. Perfect to hold six packs of be… I mean soda. So, go outside and enjoy the great outdoors schedule yourself a tee time. Just make sure to not wear jeans as they won’t let you play.

Slowly but surely the Inland Empire has been moving on up like the Jeffersons. What used to be just a dry empty area has now become a legitimate rival to our neighbors in LA and the OC. The newest addition the Inland Empire is the Citizen Business Bank Arena in Ontario. Home of the Ontario Reign and now the newest concert venue in the area. I had the good fortune of being able to get seats when the Lake Show came to town. KOBE IN THE IE! Did you ever think that would happen?
Citizens Business Bank holds about 10,000 people pretty nice sized arena and really doesn’t have a bad seat in the house. Like any new arena it has luxury boxes and lounges to hang out in. If you got the cash you can buy passes to see every event that is held there. You see the headliners that perform there which seems like every week. Its nice to see the IE coming up and finally have some venues for us 90951er’s to attend.

This place is the James Bond of bars in
Riverside. It’s a good thai restaurant during the day, then at night it turns into a small, but awesome little bar/club. There’s not much room on the inside, but it tries and the dance floor is just big enough to fit all those people who can’t dance floor anyways. Seriously, I think I would call this Riverside’s well kept secret cougar den. Every time I’ve gone, there seems to be at least one group of slightly older housewives who are trying to make up for lost time and while their husbands are out of town. It’s definitely seasonal, but Fridays and Saturdays during the summer are the best times to go. My recommendation; check it out if you’re up for something a little different.

Wow! Two gay club reviews in the same day…ya, ya, anyway. I’m going to give this place what I like to call a menagerie compliment: it’s where I write something positive about the place, then something negative, then something positive, then have a smoke and take a nap. Ok, this place has a good location and is cleaner than the VIP. However, the place has pictures of naked junk on the walls. But, it also has a huge picture of a hot naked chic on the wall. Aside from that, it’s you’re stereotypical gay club playing dance music and it doesn’t have a full bar (aka. No Jager). I think I’m gong to nickname this place “The Devil’s Threesome” or the “Uncool Threesome”.

The VIP in Riverside caters to a specific clientele which I like to categorize into two groups: Gay or Not Straight. Yes, it’s here, it’s queer, it’s been around awhile, and I think it’s going to stay. This is one of Riverside’s only openly gay bars/clubs and you won’t find a lot of bros here, but you will find some awesome drink specials and some good 80’s music. I have to admit, I was a little uneasy going there but if it wasn’t for the stigma it had, I’d probably make it a regular hot spot. Seriously, this place has $6.00 all you can drink beer night every Thursday, the bartenders actually spend their time attending to the guys, and there are always a handful of straight broads (well all women are a little lesbo) who are just there to dance and get away from all the bros at Killarny’s. However, you’d think it being a straight club it’d be stylish and sanitary, but it couldn’t be anything different….if I was a health inspector I’d rate this place an F-. But, what it lacks in cleanliness, it makes up in character…and lots of them. Anyway, if you’re down to get tore up drunk for $6.00 and do the dice thing all night long on the dance floor surrounded by guys dressed up as women…then this is your place.

So, there’s this bar in downtown Redlands, and it’s underground, and there are some random people who drink there. That pretty much sums it up. Reviewed by Jizo.

I think most people would say that the Boiler Room is the spot that they love to hate…or hate loving (Tomato vs Tomatoe). For me, going to the Boiler Room is like drunk texting. It seems like a good idea when you’re drunk and having a slow night, but in the morning you feel somewhat ashamed. Personally, I’ve been coming here off and on since they’ve opened and I have to say that it’s at the very least consistent. The ambiance is a more LA lounge vibe and who ever designed the place did a terrific job at bringing some aesthetic LA class to the IE. The inside houses a large bar and tables with plenty of room to sit or stand while you’re putting out the vibe or sit and talk shit with your girls on the skunk haired skank with the fake Coach purse. The outside has a gated courtyard that also has seating, as well as, a fireplace that is running regardless if it’s a cold IE winter or Blazing hot summer night.
Back to what I was saying about consistency: Have you ever been to a frat party? Well, with the exception of decor and location, this is no different. You’ll feel a bit out of place and find it hard to get a drink in a timely manner unless if you know one of the self-involved bartenders who are showing off their juggling skills as if they were in the movie cocktail…or of course, if you’re a cute lady ordering a drink. On busy nights, they’ll have waitresses or another bar outside in the courtyard. If you’re drinking your basic drinks, I would highly recommend ordering from the outside bar or one of the attractive young waitresses.
During the week they usually have nights with drink specials to rally out the local youth, but it’s consistently pretty slow unless if it’s market night or the weekend. They’re known for having different nights with drink specials and live music to draw out the crowds, so occasionally there will be a good sized crowd going on a week night…most of whom are probably in the college still. On the weekends, they have some pretty good DJs playing music that makes it hard not to get up and grind on the sexy young co-ed in the tube-top.
Regardless of when you go to the Boiler Room, you’ll know exactly what to expect when you get there.

Please see the Review for the Royal Falconer in Downtown Riverside and just replace the word Riverside with Redlands when you as you read it because they’re almost identical in every way. However, this is the original Falconer, and the Riverside bar is the carbon copy.
In all seriousness, this place is a pretty legit spot for the avid drinker. During the week you’ll find a steady mix of regulars who are there to relax and escape while getting delightful and courteous service. On Redlands Market and weekend nights, it’ll get pretty crowded and the bouncers enforce the maximum occupancy. On Thursday nights, they typically have live performers, but it’s nice because they’re not blasting your ears out to cover songs. Their actually talented musicians who play at a reasonable decibel for you to enjoy, or quiet enough for you to spit some of you game at the local ladies. Speaking of ladies, I’ve usually found that this spot has a steady ratio of single ladies.
Another huge difference between this Falconer and the Riverside Falconer is the upstairs which has a pool table and darts separate from the rest of the bar. Occasionally, they’ll have DJs performing upstairs where you can showcase your dance skills, but its typically only on special occasions. I’ve personally had a few jager bombs here and did the dice throw until I got severe tendinitis. This Royal Falconer is definitely a Redlands Landmark and will out last any new and trendy bars that open around it.

They say there’s only one way to bag a classy lady, and that’s to give her two tickets to the gun show and follow up it with after-dinner-drinks at an intimate martini bar with some live sexy jazz music to seal the deal. If you’re in 909/951 and have decent taste, then you’ve realized that there are few places that fall into this category…unless if you consider something like Lounge 33 or Vault a classy Martini Bar. You won’t find these places with a myspace page or weeknight drink specials to compete with the other trendy and overly crowded bars in the IE, because they don’t need or want the random patronage of the riff-raff that consider a Bro-Hawk and Fitted MMA t-shirt an upscale look. You won’t find $2.00 shooters, karaoke, or even a dance floor with a dj blasting his mixes at about 800 mega-watts too loud…but instead a place as Johnny Drama says “where you can come to have a nice bottle wine and some good ole fashion conversation” any night of the week. As well as some performances by talented jazz musicians on weekends or holidays who play for tips and take requests.
By no means, would I call this lounge a well kept secret, because most would consider the Mission Inn the heart and soul of our fair city, as well as, the time-less symbol of style and class…this lounge is no different. On most any night, you’ll find a small inviting mix of individuals that range from young professionals, out of towners, wedding attendees, or even riverside’s elite have drink. There are the occasional singles there, but if you’re looking for a place to pick up a one-night-stand, this is probably not the place.
It’s been a personal tradition of mine to stop by the Presidential Lounge on Fall and Winter holiday evenings to have some drinks with a small group of family and close friends. Most bars and clubs are closed on holidays, but since it’s part of the hotel, the Lounge is open until at least 12am on Thanksgiving and Christmas evenings. It’s self-seating in the actual bar itself, but there’s plenty of additional tables and an array of comfortable couches next to it in the foiye and lobby where you’re allowed to take your drinks. Many of times I’ve almost wanted to fall asleep on a couch next to one of the fireplaces. There’s also a beautiful outside patio that is great for having drinks on hotter weather evenings, or checking out the professioinal display of Christmas lights during the holiday season. The hotel it’self provides plenty of conversation and opportunity to check out something new in the hotel.
